Our product lives or dies on whether the dashboard makes sense to someone glancing at it mid-shift, so design is a real part of the job, not an afterthought, and we want someone who can set the bar for it.</p><p>You'll lead features end to end across our web app and the backend services behind it, where customers check status, respond to alerts, see device health, and read their whole fleet at a glance. As one of our senior engineers, you'll shape architecture, set the frontend patterns and design system others build on, and raise the quality bar in review.</p><p>The frontend is Rust, and you don't need Rust experience coming in, but you should be strong at building web UIs in something modern (React, Vue, Svelte, whatever you've used) with real design sense. It's a big, essential industry that's modernizing fast, and we're building the software behind that shift.</p><h2>The role</h2><p>We're looking for a cloud software engineer to build and ship the services behind our product: ingesting telemetry from sensors in the field, turning it into live status and alerts, and serving it to the web app our customers rely on every day.</p><p>Senior engineers are our preference, but we'll happily talk to strong earlier-career engineers who learn fast and ship. What matters most is that you write solid code, take ownership of what you build, and care about the outcome for the customer.</p><p>Our stack is almost entirely Rust: microservices on Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and a Dioxus (Rust) frontend. We are a small team, so you will work across all of it: backend services, the web frontend, and the infrastructure underneath. You don't need Rust experience coming in. If you have strong fundamentals in a systems or backend language, the transition is faster than you'd think, and you'll have support making it.</p><h2>What you'll do</h2><ul><li>Build and maintain backend services in Rust: telemetry ingestion, alerting, device management, and the APIs behind the customer-facing app.</li><li>Build the customer-facing web app in our Dioxus (Rust) frontend, from the data layer through to the screen.</li><li>Work with sensor data from harsh industrial environments, where intermittent connectivity and field conditions make robust data handling part of the craft.</li><li>Write database schemas and queries that perform at fleet scale.</li><li>Ship through a CI/CD, review-before-merge workflow on Kubernetes, and help keep what you ship healthy in production.</li><li>Work directly with the team on scoping and design. The firmware on those devices is the foundation everything else stands on. If it sleeps too much it misses events; if it sleeps too little it dies in the field. Getting that balance right is the job.</p><h2>The role</h2><p>We're looking for a senior firmware engineer to build the embedded software running on our field devices. You'll work close to the hardware across sensor integration, power budgeting, the on-device sensing-to-reporting cycle, configuration handling, and over-the-air updates, and you'll bring the kind of judgment that keeps deployed devices safe and predictable.</p><p>You'll also work shoulder-to-shoulder with the cloud team.
